Miracle

There was summer noon. Children were playing on the glade. There was a river near it. The old destroyed house was behind overgrowth of the acacia. Children were two girls and three boys. They stood on the circle and threw the ball to each other.
The ball jumped up and flew to bushes of acacia suddenly.
" Nancy , you should run after the ball! " Said Peter.
"Why?!" – Nancy made a surprised face.
"You have a choice: to catch the ball in your hands or to run after it! It was simple, so stop to be surprised!"

" Or, dear, I have not this choice, because you did not throw the ball to me!"
" May be you consider I must give ball from my hands to your hands?" – Peter continued.
" Please. It'll be nice."
" It'll be silly! "
Other kids - Joe, Feo and Judy - were standing near and listening to the comic argument.
Judy was Peter's twin sister. They were 10. Nancy was 10 too. She had beautiful green eyes and brown hair. But Feo, whose whole name was Feoctist, was the youngest. He was only 8 but quick-witted. All of them studied at school in the town. But now they were spending their summer holidays in this village, where their relatives lived.
