Fast Food Nation
By Eric Schlosser

This is an American book, it has to do with the fast food industry overall, but particularly in the U.S.A. Fast Food Nation is a non-fiction book about the growing fast food population and all of its epidemics. He focuses on McDonalds™ in this book, although he does talk about other fast food places. He talks about the history of McDonalds™ and the affect their progress has had on many individuals.

One of the big things that I have started to notice is how much people depend on the Fast Food Industry. Laziness has taken a toll on those who choose to endorse their product, and we are left with health problems. Obesity, heart problems, liver problems, cholesterol skyrocketing, headaches, and depression are only a few things as a result of constant digestion of fast food. It also doesn't help that most schools provide a non-nutritious meal - that is if the individual decides to eat at all, many of which decide to skip the school cafeteria and head over to the nearest McDonalds™ or Burger King ™.
